- Honey: 1/4 cup 85g. Use your favorite variety of honey. Clover honey offers a classic sweetness, while wildflower honey brings a more complex flavor, and is what i use.
- Mustard: 1/4 cup 60g. Dijon mustard adds a tangy kick that balances the sweetness of the honey. You can substitute with yellow mustard for a milder flavor, but dijon is best.
- Olive Oil: 2 tablespoons 30ml. Extra virgin olive oil adds a subtle richness and helps the chicken brown beautifully.
- Salt and Pepper: To taste. Season generously to enhance all the flavors. I recommend using freshly ground black pepper.
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the Sauce: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, Dijon mustard, and olive oil.
Season the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Coat the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in the baking dish and pour the honey mustard sauce over them, ensuring they are evenly coated.
