Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf Italian or French bread
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh oregano chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped herbs, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Slice the bread lengthwise.
  • Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over both halves of the bread.
  • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the garlic butter.
  • Place the bread halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (optional).
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and drizzle with olive oil.
  • Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
